Regency Costume Tip-of-the-Week

Gentlemen: You're getting dressed for the ball and you discover you can't find your gloves.  It's the weekend and the ball will be starting soon. Formal white gloves are difficult to find under normal circumstances. What do you do?

The solution: Head to the drug store and purchase a pair of moisturizing gloves from the nail care section. They cost only a few dollars and you'll make it through the ball without scandalizing the assembly by touching your dance partners with your bare hand.
